Owen Bregman has over 30 years of experience in public accounting. He received his B.B.A. degree from George Washington University in Washington, D.C. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has served and continues to serve as an officer and director on numerous charitable organizations in Fairfield County.

Herbert Bregman is the founding partner of our firm. He received his B.S. degree from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. He is a member of the Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York Societies of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former director and organizer of Patriot National Bank. He has served and continues to serve as an officer and director on numerous charitable organizations in Stamford.

Eliot Bassin is a partner at Bregman & Company. He specializes in providing tax, audit and business advisory services to individuals, closely held businesses and non-profit organizations. He is also experienced in the performance of "Yellow Book" engagements, as well as audits conducted under the Single Audit Act. He earned a Bachelor of Accountancy, Cum Laude, from the George Washington University and a M.S. in Taxation from Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. He is also actively involved in several community organizations.

Kuhrt Bidorini is a tax manager at Bregman & Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant with over 18 years of experience spanning Big 4 and large regional firms, as well as publicly traded corporations. He practices in all areas of tax with a concentration in corporate taxes and ASC 740 reporting. He earned a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Joe Caruso is an Audit Manager at Bregman & Company. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Connecticut and is experienced in performing financial statement attest services for clients across a variety of industries. Previously, Joe has worked at globally and nationally recognized accounting firms and also in internal audit within in the public service sector. Joe earned his Bachelor’s in Science in Accounting from the University of Connecticut.

Biljana Savic is a staff accountant at Bregman & Company. She provides tax and attest services to a diverse group of clients. Biljana received her B.S. in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Bridgeport in 2014 and her MBA degree with a concentration in accounting from the University of Bridgeport in 2016. Biljana is interested in competitive team sports. She played NCAA Division 2 Varsity Volleyball throughout college and continues to play recreationally. Biljana is from Novi Sad, Serbia, and is fluent in Serbian.

Richard Herrera is a staff accountant at Bregman & Company. He provides attest and tax services to a diverse group of clients. Richard graduated Cum Laude from the University of Bridgeport in 2018 with a B.S. in Accounting. He is currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Accounting at the University of Bridgeport. His ultimate goal is to become a CPA. Richard enjoys playing soccer and spending time with family and friends. He is from Lima, Peru, and is fluent in Spanish.

Bobby White is a staff accountant at Bregman & Company. He originally joined the firm as an intern during the 2019 and 2020 tax seasons. He now provides tax and audit services to a diverse group of clients. Bobby received his B.S. in Accounting from Central Connecticut State University in 2021. In May of 2022, he will receive his master’s degree in Accounting with a concentration in Business Analytics at Central Connecticut State University and pursue the Certified Public Accountant designation. For a majority of his life, Bobby has had a passion for playing sports such as baseball, basketball, and most recently softball. He also enjoys spending time with his family and friends.

Vanessa received her B.B.A. in Business Administration from Berkeley College in White Plains, NY and has taken additional accounting courses at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.

Nicole Cordero is a bookkeeper at Bregman & Company. Nicole has over five years of accounting/ bookkeeping experience working with clients of varying sizes in multiple industries. Nicole received her Associate Degree in Accounting from LaGuardia community college in 2014 and her B.A. in Accounting from Queens College in 2017.
